Job Description

Job Title: People Services Operations Specialist

Working Pattern: Hybrid 3 in office days a week

Working Location: Indianapolis, IN

As a People Services Operations Specialist for Rolls-Royce, you’ll play a key role in providing support to teams within the Global Business Service (GBS) People Services group and also supporting our People Partners across North America.  This is an exciting opportunity as you’ll provide professional and specialist advice, whilst working to ensure that GBS is prepared for change through translating policy design into practical systems and processes to support policy development activities.

What you will be doing:

  • Administering processes and activities that you are responsible for including, but not limited to; background check adjudication, I-9 employment verifications, physical mail processing, initiating and supporting international assignment and immigration matters.
  • Resolving complex issues and responding to customer queries, including those that cannot be resolved by third-party suppliers (Tier 3 escalations)
  • Supporting local and global projects and acting as a local point of contact and/or subject matter expert
  • Project managing new initiatives and requirements, as needed
  • Undertaking regular reviews of all processes, and working with third-party suppliers to ensure efficient operation, continuous improvement and high-quality customer service
  • Lead on any audit requirements, supporting requests for information and providing data as requested
  • Act as an interface between third-party service providers and our customers, addressing any service performance issues where required
  • Leveraging experience and taking initiative to identify and solve complex problems, develop solutions and drive service improvements
  • Prioritizing and meeting demanding deadlines and timescales in a fast-moving environment

Basic Requirements:

  • Associate degree with 4+ years of Human Resources administration experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Human Resources administration, OR
  • Master’s degree, OR
  • JD/ PhD. OR
  • 6+ years of experience in Human Resources administration in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be considered for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience managing projects and leading change initiatives
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Process Excellence/Six Sigma tools and methodologies
