Role Summary:
As the HR Operations Team Leader for the German market at Rolls-Royce, you will be the guardian of operational excellence for the DE region. Your mission is to translate our "Three E’s" strategy—Efficiency, Effectiveness, and Experience—into tangible results. You will act as the vital bridge between high-level global HR strategy and daily execution, ensuring that every stage of the employee lifecycle is handled with the engineering precision. You will lead, mentor, and inspire a team of specialists, fostering a culture of continuous growth through regular feedback and high performance.
What you will be doing:
- Managing day-to-day administrative processes, ensuring maximum accuracy in service delivery, process coordination, data entry, and document management for the German market.
- Supervising and mentoring the HR Operations team, conducting regular 1-2-1 feedback sessions to ensure professional growth and high engagement levels. Creating succession planning to ensure career development.
- Overseeing the entire employee journey within operations function: from onboarding, contract management, lifecycle and other administration to offboarding, ensuring a seamless and premium experience.
- Act as the subject matter expert on process regulations and local German regulations, ensuring all HR processes and documents remain fully compliant.
- Identifying bottlenecks in current workflows and implement process improvements "Lean" solutions to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Collaborating closely with local & global stakeholders and managers to align operational delivery with business needs.
- Maintaining "gold-standard" data quality within HRIS systems (SNOW/Workday/SAP).
- Serving as the first point of escalation for complex employee & LM queries, resolving intricate cases related to German social security, taxes, and work councils.
- Monitoring team performance against SLA and KPI, driving a "customer-first" mindset.
- Supporting the implementation of new HR technologies and global projects. Supporting the direct reports in know-how sharing and individual development.
Position requirements:
- Perfect command of German (C1/C2) and English (min. B2), both written and spoken.
- At least 4 years of experience in leading, supervising, or mentoring a team within a GBS/SSC environment.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in HR Operations with a deep understanding of the diverse stages of the Employee Lifecycle.
- Practical knowledge of German Labor Law and payroll-related regulations.
- Experience with Global HRIS platforms (preferably Workday or SAP) and Case Management tools (ServiceNow or other)
- A proven track record of providing regular feedback and managing team performance.
- University degree (HR, Business Psychology, Administration or related).
